Marli New York’s flagship store to open in Riyadh

New York-based jewelry label MARLI is bringing its modern designs to Saudi Arabia with its first store in the kingdom. Inspired by New York’s dynamic energy, the jewelry pieces by the brand are crafted from 18K gold and set with brilliant-cut diamonds and exquisite gemstones. These pieces are renowned for their flawless reflective qualities, fluid lines and material vocabulary.

The flagship store is a showcase of the brand’s distinctive handcrafted jewellery and bespoke design features. It is the first MARLI New York store in Saudi Arabia and the sixth worldwide. The new store is situated in the Kingdom Centre in Riyadh.

The brand is the latest venture of Maral Artinian, a fashion designer and entrepreneur with a family heritage in fine jewelry. She founded Marli in 2014 and has since opened two shops in the Middle East. The New York flagship will borrow from the Middle Eastern shops in terms of layout, administration and staffing.

The MARLI Saudi Arabia boutique will also feature two new lounges: the M Lounge and the High-End Jewelry Lounge. A brass logo and double-height atrium mark the entrance of the store. The interiors have been designed in collaboration with ArandaLasch, a design firm that has collaborated with LVMH, MoMA in NYC, and the Venice Biennale. The brand’s monogram inspired the crafted vertical texture of the interiors and materials, including wood, stone, and glass.
