The exhibition

The Folie des Pres bracelet is made of white gold and features diamonds and Emeralds. It is part of the 2003 “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” high jewelry collection. As with all of the pieces in this line, the bracelet’s design is inspired by a midsummer night’s dream. This particular bracelet is part of a group of 85 pieces in the archives, 15 jewels from the contemporary lines, and 13 original design sketches that will be displayed to trace the evolution of floral themes at the house over the past century.

For this exhibition, Van Cleef & Arpels commissioned Japanese photographer Mika Ninagawa to create macro-enlarged images of flowers for the show. She was previously involved with the company for an exhibit in 2017.
